Liverpool bid for new goalkeeper

07:00: Liverpool have reportedly made an attempt to fix their uncertain goalkeeper situation with a bid for Roma’s Alisson, but it was immediately knocked back.

Jurgen Klopp has been chopping and changing between Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet for the past two seasons now.

Neither goalkeepers have done enough to convince the German coach they should be Liverpool’s No 1 for the future.

Alisson seems to be Liverpool’s No 1 target with Roma wanting close to £44million for the Brazilian.

That’s according to Italian newspaper Il Tempo, who claim Liverpool have already made a bid for the 25-year-old.

It is not said how much the offer was, but Roma have reportedly knocked back the Reds’ attempts to sign him.

Messi reveals Neymar transfer secret

06:30: Lionel Messi has reportedly told his Barcelona team-mates that Neymar WILL join Real Madrid next season on one condition.

Neymar left Barcelona last summer for a world record fee worth £198million to join Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

But there have been constant speculation suggesting the 25-year-old is unhappy with life in PSG.

Spanish outlet Mi Otra Liga claim Neymar has held conversations with Messi about what his next move will be.

And the Argentina international has relayed the message to his Barcelona team-mates.

Sanchez plays key role in United transfer target

06:00: Bayern Munich are prepared to cash in on Arturo Vidal, with reports suggesting Alexis Sanchez could lure him to Manchester United.

United hold a long standing interest in the Chile international and Louis van Gaal came close to making a bid in his first summer in charge, only to pull out of a move due to concerns over the player’s fitness.

However, German publication Bild claim that Goretzka’s imminent arrival at the Allianz Arena means Vidal has been told to find a new club.

And the report goes on to suggest Sanchez could use international affiliation with Vidal to convince the midfielder of a move to Old Trafford.
