Manchester United boss Mourinho yesterday had a dig at his opposite number for some of his actions on the touchline.
The Portuguese boss labelled Conte and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp as “clowns” for “over-reacting” in their technical areas.
However, the Chelsea manager has responded by reminding Mourinho of the time that he ran down the Old Trafford touchline when Porto boss in 2004.
And he reversed the clown insult back towards the United manager.
“I think maybe he was talking about himself in the past,” Conte said.
“Sometimes people can forget what they did in the past or which is his behaviours and sometimes I think there is, I don’t know the name, demenza senile, when you are a bit, when you forget what you do in the past.”
Conte has also blasted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger following the 2-2 draw in midweek with Arsenal.
The Frenchman was extremely critical of referee Anthony Taylor after the game for awarding the visitors a penalty when Hector Bellerin collided with Eden Hazard.
But Conte also lambasted Wenger for his remarks.
“I think if Arsene watches the game again, he’ll understand that he was very lucky in the game with the refereeing decisions,” Conte added.
“It’s strange because I don’t like to speak about other coaches or players.
“This is a form of respect that you must have.
“Sometimes Wenger forgets that in the last few games [vs Arsenal] we finished with 10 men.”
