Marks & Spencer New Year’s Eve meal deal is back – here’s what you can get for just £20

If you’re planning on spending New Year’s Eve at home this year, but don’t want the stress of having to cook, Marks & Spencer could be the answer. 

As part of its Dine In for Two range, M&S has a selection of delicious starters, mains and desserts to enjoy in the comfort of your home for a bargain price. 

Choose a starter, main, side dish, dessert and bottle of wine or sparkling wine all for £20. 

So what delicious delights are on offer? 

Starters

King prawn and salmon terrines – king prawn and lochmuir poached salmon terrine slices, topped with Scottish Lochmuir oak-smoked salmon and hand garnished with soft cheese, dill and a gold lustre. 

Smoked salmon & egg royale – a runny poached egg wrapped in Scottish Lochmuir smoked salmon on top of a blini. Ready to bake in the oven, top with hollandaise sauce and serve with toast soldiers. 

Salmon, prawn & avocado starters – Scottish Lochmuir salmon and avocado mousse, wrapped with smoked salmon and topped with king prawns.

Coquilles St. Jacques – scallop shells filled with succulent scallops in a creamy white sauce, garnished with creamy mash and a cheddar cheese crumb.

Italian antipasto selection – selection of Parma ham, salami Milano and dry cured pork loin.

Tomato & camembert tarts (V) – puff pastry filled with camembert cheese, tomatoes and basil.

Gastropub runny scotch eggs – soft poached eggs in fresh seasoned sausagemeat, rolled in a golden crumb.

Scottish smoked salmon soufflés – a light and delicate Scottish Lochmuir smoked salmon whipped mousse topped with smoked salmon pieces and gold lustre.

Sweet potato falafels (V) – with a feta and cumin dressing.

Mains 

Gastropub goats’ cheese lattice en croute (V) – goats’ cheese with caramelised red onion encased in puff pastry and topped with a crunchy pumpkin seed crumb.

Gastropub gammon shanks – with a rich orange & cranberry sauce.

Gastropub duck à l’orange – tender roast duck breast and thigh in an aromatic orange sauce.

Rack of lamb – with a rosemary, lemon and garlic gluten free crumb.

Tuna steaks – with sweet soy and chilli sauce.

Rump steaks with peppercorn sauce – British beef peppered rump steaks with peppercorn sauce.

Gastropub beef bourguignon – slow-cooked beef in red wine with roasted onions, button mushrooms and smoked ham lardons.

Side dishes 

Chunky chips (V) – chunky potato chips coated in a lightly seasoned batter.

Broccoli cheese bake (V) – broccoli florets in a cheese sauce topped with mature cheddar cheese.

Garlic mushrooms (V) – with soft cheese topped with breadcrumbs.

Rosemary potatoes (V) – with rosemary, parsley and roasted garlic.

Super wholegrain (V) – spelt, black lentils, couscous and edamame soy beans. Delicious served hot or cold.

Potato croquettes (V) – mashed potato coated in breadcrumbs.

Crispy potato wedges (V) 

Ultimate potato mash (V) – with cream and butter.

Cabbage medley (V) – green cabbage, spring greens and savoy cabbage in a cream and onion sauce

Desserts 

Profiterole stack (V) – delicate choux pastries filled with fresh cream and layered with rich chocolate sauce.

Dutch apple tarts (V) – apples with sultanas and cinnamon in an all- butter luxury pastry case topped with butter-enriched filo.

Tarte au citron slices (V) – all-butter sweet pastry, blind baked for crispness and filled with a smooth and tangy lemon filling.

Fruity fiesta (V) – pineapple, melon, grapes and kiwi fruit.
