A stunning lob from Port Vale’s Antony Kay was the pick of the goals in the second round replays of this season’s FA Cup

However, Kay’s Port Vale side were unable to make it into the third round proper despite the defender’s heroics as Yeovil ran out 3-2 winners.

The Valiants made a disatrous start, going 1-0 down and also had Cristian Montano and James Gibbons sent off.

However, true to their nickname, Port Vale fought back valiantly but were unable to go back to Staffordshire with a win.

Nevertheless, Kay’s extra-time goal which made the game 2-2 was certainly wonderful. See the goal above.
